Il Belga Barbuto is being developed now, step by step, in the open. Twenty-three scent samples have become a handful of finalists, and in mid-August a small panel will gather to choose the winning scent. From there production begins: the first bottles of Olio da Barba No. 01 leave production at the end of September. Apply now, and you'll follow the whole journey closely, and be among the first to judge the result on your own beard.

02. The panel chooses the scent
In mid-August a small panel gathers to choose the winning scent from the finalists. Production starts right after.
03. Selecting testers
As soon as the first bottles leave production, at the end of September, we review all applications personally and select 30 to 50 testers who fit the brand best.
04 — Test & review
You test the beard oil at home for a few weeks following our routine, then share your honest experience with us — positive or critical, all feedback is welcome. We also ask that you follow us on Instagram (@ilbelgabarbuto) and, if you'd like, share a post or story during your testing period.

No, these are two different things. The scent panel is a small, mixed group (maximum 10 to 12 people, Lier area) that gathers in mid-August to choose the final scent of Edition No. 01 from the last finalists.
